In 1999he began his studies in Anthropology at the National School of Anthropology andHistory in México City. After completing this degree in 2003 he enrolled inthe Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica film school in Mexico City where hewrote and directed various shorts his graduating film (feature) “Betweennight and day” (2011) was Awarded the Industry Prize at San SebastianInternational Film Festival and was selectedin competition at majorfestivals including Tokyo Amiens Warsaw Guadalajara and SanSebastian. Bernardo completed a masters degree in script writing at the EscolaSuperior de Cinema e Audiovisuals de Cataluña (ESCAC) in Barcelona. He iscurrently finished his second feature “TheBeginning of Time” and developing his next feature film project.
